Virtual Lunch & Learn: The St. Louis Coliseum

LASM-Virtual Lunch and Learn.png

Date: Tuesday, October 20th
Time: 11:30 AM
Place: Zoom

The closing of the 1904 World’s Fair left our city without a convention center. A group of businessmen led by attorney Guy Golterman assembled $450,000 in private funding to build The St. Louis Coliseum, a venue space at Washington and Jefferson Avenues. Historian, performer, and curator of the Guy Golterman Collections, Ed Golterman, will join us to explore the history of this little-known St. Louis gem that almost didn’t happen. We’ll view Ed’s documentary on the Coliseum and have time for Q&A afterward.

Make your lunch and join us on Zoom on Tuesday, October 20th at 11:30 amYou'll be able to participate either through an on-line link (will need internet access) or by listening in over the phone. A tech trial run prior to the meeting can be arranged.

No fee to register, donations can be mailed to LASM, 6401 Scanlan (63139), or made on-line at lasministry.org.
