Stephen Ministry.

Our Stephen Ministry program provides high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to older adults in our community experiencing life difficulties. Stephen Ministers are caring individuals who receive caregiving training and then work alongside the LASM staff in providing emotional and spiritual support to older adults who are going through a difficult time, such as grief, hospitalization, isolation, relocation, chronic illness, or loneliness. Individuals matched with a Stephen Minister volunteer receive weekly caring visits that include listening, encouragement, and prayer.
