Tis the season for joy, but often it can also be a time of added stress. And let’s not kid ourselves, we all face stressful situations throughout the year, ranging from minor annoyances like traffic jams, to more serious concerns, such as a loved one’s declining health.
While we cannot avoid life’s stress triggers, we can learn techniques to cope using our body and mind. On Thursday, November 30th, clinical pharmacist, Kim Hoff, will guide us with evidence-based practices to eliminate the harmful effects of stress.
Workshop from 10am-Noon in Memorial Hall of Southwest Baptist Church at 6401 Scanlan Avenue, followed by lunch and fellowship noon to 1pm. $10 suggested donation to attend. LASM is hosting this program in collaboration with The Oasis Institute.
