With Veterans Day just around the corner, LASM is hosting a day trip to Soldiers Memorial Military Museum in Downtown St. Louis. Thursday, November 2nd from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

We’ll enjoy guided tours of the St. Louis in Service exhibit as well as the museum’s outdoor memorials. Additional time will be allotted for self-guided exploration of the Vietnam: At Home and At War special exhibit.

Lunch will follow at City Foundry Food Hall which has a variety of food options to choose from and a large open seating area. $25/person includes transportation and museum fees. Lunch will be pay on your own.

Itinerary

9:30am Load bus and depart from Upper Parking Lot of Southwest Baptist Church (6401 Scanlan)
10am Guided tour of Soldiers Memorial: St. Louis in Service + 15 minute tour of outdoor memorials
11:30am Self-guided exploration of Vietnam: At Home and At War or other exhibits.
12:00pm Load bus and depart for City Foundry STL
12:30pm Lunch at City Foundry Food Hall + Shopping/Exploration
2pm Load bus and depart for SWB
